Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you open a page, technical connection data is processed: IP address, date and time, requested and referring address, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Fonts

All fonts are served from this domain. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service.

Forms (Web3Forms)

The forms “Find a caterer”, “List your business”, “Claim listing”, “Remove listing” and “Contact” are processed by the Web3Forms service. Your input (such as name, email, phone, company and address details, event details and your message) is sent to this service and delivered to us by email. We use it only to handle your request. Requests via “Find a caterer” are not passed on to caterers. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed for handling your request or any retention obligations. A hidden field detects automated submissions.

Directory data from Google Places

Basic listings in the caterer directory are based on publicly available business data retrieved via the Google Places API: name, address, phone number, website, category, coordinates, business status and average rating with number of reviews. Where this concerns sole traders, it is personal data. We process it under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest and that of users in an overview of catering businesses. We do not store review texts or photos. You can object at any time: via remove a listing we delete the entry and add it to a block list so it does not reappear.

Analytics (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4)

This website may load Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 measures how the website is used, for example which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. Cookies are set and usage data such as device and browser details is processed; Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding usage and improving the website. Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off (Google Consent Mode). Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months. You can object by blocking cookies in your browser or using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

The catering cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your input is neither transmitted nor stored.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for the controller this is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus. You can also contact the authority where you live.
